What each score means for you

• Performance (99 mobile / 73 desktop): how fast the page becomes visible and interactive. Mobile is excellent (FCP 0.9s, LCP 1.7s, CLS 0). Desktop is held back by Total Blocking Time (610ms) measured under PSI's custom desktop throttling profile — most of which comes from the analytics + monitoring chain loading early. We accept the tradeoff for production analytics.
• Accessibility (100): the site works for everyone — screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, low vision, color blindness. WCAG 2.1 AA compliant.
• Best Practices (100): secure resources, no console errors, no broken links, no deprecated APIs. Note: once our Google Tag Manager + GA4 analytics stack fully loads on the production deploy, two checks (third-party cookies + Issues-panel warnings) will start failing by design and this score will likely settle around 77 — the tradeoff we accept for production analytics visibility.
• SEO (100): search engines see everything they need — meta tags, structured data, mobile-friendly layouts. Google won't miss us.
• Agentic Browsing (100): AI shopping agents like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and Gemini can read, navigate, and understand every page. Increasingly important as AI starts driving discovery.

How we measured

Captured 2026-05-20 via PageSpeed Insights against the staging URL (https://shopifybenchmark.com). Same audit engine Google uses when ranking pages. Desktop is emulated standard desktop; mobile emulates a Moto G Power on a slow 4G connection (the standard real-user simulation).
